About Us

Our Farm

Good Scents Flowers is a microfarm of 2.5 acres in the heart of the Skagit Valley in northwest Washington.  We are a long-time married couple with backgrounds in healthcare and construction.  We purchased the run-down farm in 2016 as a retirement project at the suggestion of our dogs, who longed to be out of the city and in the fresh air.  After several years of extensive re-habbing and building, fencing, and re-generative soil preparation, and planting over 100 trees, along with hundreds of shrubs, vegetables and flowers, we began selling dahlias in 2020. Now there are a dozen sheep, a llama, 4 Standard Poodles, 4 barn cats, a dozen chickens, and over 400 varieties of dahlias.  Until Spring, when there will be lambs, chicks, and MORE dahlias!  Our dogs are so happy.....
